Shagri-La Plaza officially unveiled Streetscape, a curated dining hub featuring some of the country’s most well-known restaurants.

For decades, Shangri-La Plaza has been the stomping ground for Manila’s style-savvy crowd. Now, it’s widening that circle with a fresh new energy that speaks to the next generation of tastemakers.

Vibrant, youthful

Earlier this month, this iconic mall officially unveiled Streetscape, a curated dining hub featuring some of the country’s most well-known restaurants. It’s refreshing, youthful, and deliciously unexpected—a contemporary community space that lets you eat, explore and escape.

“We have conceived the idea of Streetscape during the pandemic… The idea (was to) bring something new to Shangri-La Plaza, elevating our dining experiences, and also the offering that we have for our customers. We are grateful to our partners that are here, for their support, trust and belief that we can make Streetscape a really unique dining destination in the Philippines and in Manila,” said Shang Properties Inc. executive director Wolfgang Krueger.

“This is Shangri-La Plaza’s new story of inspired living. Streetscape injects a youthful energy into our spaces, resonating with generations of families and customers who (have grown) with us and continue to choose us. It’s a testament of how Shangri-la Plaza remains to be relevant,” added Shang Properties EVP for Retail and Commercial Joy Polloso. “More than just a beautiful space, Streetscape has positioned the mall as the true culinary destination—one that draws new audiences, sparks curiosity and expands the reach beyond the city central’s corridors.”

Streetscape has positioned the mall as the true culinary destination.

A fusion of ‘Street + Eat + Escape’

To mark Streetscape’s official debut, Shangri-La Plaza threw a celebration that fittingly embodied the concept—a fusion of street energy, great eats, and inviting escape.

It was an afternoon of happy chaos, great music and overflowing cocktails, made even more exciting by an exclusive food crawl that turned the spotlight on Streetscape’s star-studded culinary lineup. Longhorn Steakhouse, Wildflour, A Mano, Harlan + Holden Coffee, Refinery, Red Lotus, The Wholesome Table, Sala Martinez, Gingerlily, Starbucks, Manam, Juniper by Josh Boutwood, and Nikkei Sakagura each rolled out their signature offerings to impress—from bold reinterpretations of local classics to globally inspired creations.

Longhorn opened its first branch at Shangi-La Plaza Mall.

Some of these dining spots, according to Polloso, are even making their debut in Ortigas Center with Longhorn, for instance, having its first branch in the Philippines here at Streetscape.

So the next time your appetite craves excitement, you’ll know exactly where to find it.
