SM City Laoag opens on May 30

SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City is one of the earliest locations of the chain of SM malls that will soon have a 88 sites in the Philippines.
MANILA, Philippines — SM Prime Holdings Inc. is set to open SM City Laoag in Ilocos Norte province on Friday, May 30. This marks its 88th shopping mall in the country.
In a disclosure on Wednesday, the real estate giant said its newest mall would have three levels. It will offer more than 51,000 square meters of gross leasable space.
“The opening of SM City Laoag reinforces our commitment to bring modern, accessible and community-oriented retail experiences to underserved but fast-growing areas,” SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim said in a statement.
Once opened, it will house several SM brands, including SM Store, SM Supermarket, SM Cinema, Pet Express, Miniso and BDO.
SM City Laoag has 90 percent of its space already lease-awarded, according to SM Prime.
